About decoding packets
When troubleshooting your network or tracking down a security breach, analyzing the details of a packet can be very useful. You can view the details of a packet by opening the packet in a Packet Decode window.
In the Capture and Post-capture Analysis pages, there will be Packet Decode view. Packet Decode View consists of the decode toolbar, the summary panel, the detail panel, and the Hex panel (as shown in Figure 7-1.).
